Privacy Policy

CalcWise runs entirely in your browser and does not collect your calculation inputs. The server side may receive the following anonymous data:

• Anonymous traffic statistics from Cloudflare's edge nodes (volume, country, error rate)
• Standard HTTP request headers (IP, User-Agent, etc.) aggregated and processed by Cloudflare
• Font requests sent to Google Fonts, which receive your IP and User-Agent

Your calculation history, theme, and language preferences are stored only in your browser's localStorage under these keys:

• calcwise.history — saved calculations
• calcwise.theme — light / dark / system preference
• calcwise.locale — language preference

You can wipe these at any time using the "Clear" button on the calculator page, or by clearing site data in your browser. We have no way — and no intention — to back this data up to a server.

We use Cloudflare's anonymous statistics solely to understand overall traffic and detect issues (e.g. a region can't reach the site, a page is erroring) so we can improve stability. These stats contain nothing personally identifiable, and we never share them with third parties.

CalcWise sets no analytics cookies and loads no third-party tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, etc.). We serve no behavioural ads and build no user profiles.

To deliver a stable, multilingual experience, CalcWise uses the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare Pages — static hosting and anonymous traffic stats (see Cloudflare's privacy policy)
• Google Fonts — cross-language webfonts (including CJK and Arabic); your IP is used to fetch the nearest font file

Even though we don't collect your data, you still have these rights:

• Right to know — this page fully describes our practices
• Right to delete — clear your browser's local storage to erase all CalcWise data
• Right to complain — contact us if you believe we've mishandled anything

CalcWise is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because we don't collect user data in the first place, the same policy applies to everyone — please use the site with a parent or guardian if you're a minor.

We may update this policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page along with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of CalcWise means you accept the updated policy.
